Small transport ships used in the late 23rd century as well as 24th century. The front of the ship is cut in, probably for easy docking and offloading of crew.

The Jenolen miniature was a modification of a large shuttlecraft originally built for Star Trek VI. The modifications by Greg Jein added warp engines to the model. The Jenolan model has been re-used as a ship visiting Deep Space 9, notably as the transport USS Nash NAR-2010-5 that brought the two Temporal Investigations agents to the station in "Trials and Tribble-ations".

The spelling of the Jenolan is in dispute. While the Star Trek Encyclopedia spells it as Jenolen, the model itself is labled Jenolin, and it has also been spelled as Jenolan, named after the Jenolan Caves in New South Wales.
