Small 4.4 meters shuttle vehicles used mainly at starbases and spacedocks or other types of orbital facilities. Travel pods came into use by the 2270's. Travel Pods have no seats and are only designed for short-range space travel unlike other shuttlecraft which are capable of both interstellar and atmospheric travel.
