This type of shuttlecraft will be in use by the early 25th century based on the Type 9 shuttlecraft. It is
equipped with Type 4 phasers and ablative hull armor. In 2404, Admiral Janeway used this shuttle to travel back
in time to the year 2377 in a personal mission to alter the timeline by bringing the USS Voyager NCC-74656 back
to Earth sooner.
